Hi. I hope this works, I haven't used the wiki "talk" feature before. As for Knoppix booting from a USB key and being able to be upgraded with "apt-get", I don't think it would work. The Knoppix system will still think it's a CD-ROM, and thus not be very tolerant of writes. Try it, though, and let me know if it works!
