I'm working on improving the debootstrap to livecd project. I've used Debian Live CD, It's ok, but I like Knoppix better. To be fair, I have not used the Debian LiveCD enough to say accurately what is best. However, customizing Kernel, InitRD, bootscripts will provide the experience to understand Knoppix better, and the knowledge to learn the Debian LiveCD also.

What's next? Building a custom Live CD, using the minimalist approach. Right now I'm comparing Initial Ram Disk (initrd) between Debian and Knoppix. Determining how Knoppix loads modules and detects hardware and injecting that into the debian method for booting a system.
