??? The end of a conversation

Wiki Names

Does it matter how the wikinames are formatted? I noticed that the converter tends to separate the Knoppix away from the rest of the wikiname, but does no other formatting. I note that you show the example of Knoppix Customisation, but how would you handle KnoppixRemasterHowtoSpanish?
If it were me (and we all know it's not ;-), I would take this time to reformat the wikinames to be more readable. In other words, KnoppixRemasterHowtoSpanish would become Spanish Remaster Knoppix HowTo so it would work well in a sentence such as: Come visit the Spanish Remaster Knoppix HowTo for more information
Yes?

I certainly hope the pagenames are supposed to look like "Hd Based HowTo" instead of "Hd BasedHowTo" or there'll be some editing to do :) --Markus 18:23, 27 Dec 2004 (GMT)

Yep it makes sence to have Knoppix Remaster HowTo Spanish etc.. not all bunched up words! --Eadz 22:48, 2 Jan 2005 (GMT)

Using MediaWiki is a good idea

Good decision! I tried many wiki software and mediawiki is my final choice also.

Major and Minor edits

Hmmm, almost everything in recent changes appears to be marked minor, even some page additions to the new wiki are marked minor, odd. I'm marking my changes minor as I'm just deleting square brackets mostly. --Kyle Tue Jan 4 07:48:57 UTC 2005

Hmm, from me too as it's probably me. Forgot to set "default minor" when I started so too much was marked "major"? Anyway, I'm also marking most as minor now as I don't really add much content, just edit what's there. PS: Any idea why my name is in red? --Markus 08:16, 4 Jan 2005 (GMT)

Red links

The red links are for when theres a link to a page but the page doesn't exist in the wiki, last night I clicked on my page and threw in some text to make my name not red. --Kyle Tue Jan 4 19:12:05 UTC 2005

Moving pages

Knoppix Customisations this page uses the word spelt with a z instead of an s inside, I notice this of course after I post to Customising FAQ blindly, hopefully someone can rename pages in the wiki --Kyle Tue Jan 4 19:29:05 UTC 2005

You can move the page to a new name but it seems the old one doesn't quite dissapear. And the red name is, of course, obvious now that you've said it :) --Markus 21:37, 4 Jan 2005 (GMT)

Escaping wiki code

if [[ -e /proc/net/hostap ]]; then

showing nowiki tag for bash scripts, as I forgot where they are :) --Kyle Tue Jan 11 23:08:07 UTC 2005

Adding Knoppix Section to Wikicities English Linux

I'm just filling out the red link for Knoppix out at the Wikicities:Linux Wiki (and wondering if the interwiki table on this site is hip to Wikicities:c:en.linux and Wikipedia:Knoppix links)

And will someone please fix that missing search index!

Main page Beta

As the Main Page is write-protected, though it looks and works horrible , I'm now starting a Main Page Beta that everybody can edit. I hope that some of us will do, and that the wiki administrators (does they exist?) will notice our work, and import our changes to the real main page. (I've got this excellent idea from the Damn Small Linux wiki ;-D ) Qwerty 17:45, 3 Nov 2006 (GMT)
