Open Office or as it is sometimes called OO is a complete office suite of applications. Files saved in MS Word or MS Excel format can be read into cooresponding OO applications. A great Knoppix trick is to have a MS Word or MS Excel document on your hard drive. After Knoppix boots its always fun to open up one of these documents. The next question to ask is, "Why would you pay $495.00US to do bold, underline, word wrap, and spell check?"
