An ISO Image is a file that contains files and folders of Knoppix contained within. Use a CD/DVD burning software (i.e. Nero) and choose "burn iso image" or something similar to that and select the KNOPPIX_Vx.x.xCD2005-09-23-EN.iso file (or whatever your filename is) and it will burn it onto your disc, with whatever is inside the file, instead of a .iso file.
