Introduction
GNOPPIX is a linux live CD based upon Gnobian, which is GNOME for Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody). GNOPPIX can be compared to Knoppix, but GNOPPIX is more-GNU, because it uses GNU GNOME 2.4 as the desktop environment.
Gnoppix can be fully executed from the CD or DVD. Optionally, it can also be booted from the hard disk [[[Hd BasedHowTo]]] or installed in the first or posterior hard drive unit or hard drive partition ([1]).
- Gnoppix Burning : downloading and burning to a CD or DVD.
- Gnoppix BootMedia: creating a media to boot Gnoppix, without using live CD (items: bootfloppy, bootable usb keydrive, copy to the hard disk).
