• 2008.04.24 - Touchpad very slow!!! 1st off thanks to everyone who contributed to knoppix. On to the matter at hand. Same laptops running > =5.1 were used as reference. Temporary solution: edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

# to find touchpad 
$python /usr/bin/hal-device-manager
# found alps glidepoint on /dev/input/event3
# edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf 
$sudo vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf
# insert the following
