Storage device mount problem.

Been running Knoppix 3.4/2.4.26 on HD successfully for several months. Use internal CD and DVD plus external scsi CD and HD with Amiga/Amithlon. Successfully installed hpoj for HP PSC 2355.

Rebooted recently and KDE desktop was cluttered with 12 CD icons. /mount shows these as locked files.

SCSI CD and HD appear on desktop intermittently but are found in KDE File Manager but will not read.

What caused these and how are they corrected?
