The Altair 8800B was the successor to the original Altair 8800, removing some of the latters shortcomings. The most important improvement was a more robust power supply. This unit was taken out of service in working condition over 20 years ago but it is sold AS IS with NO Warrenty and NO RETURNS. The seller has hand entered a short test program that executes correctly both in single step and run mode. Other than that, no testing has been done. The unit includes the Altair processor boards plus an 8K static memory board. No user manual included. The case has some minor blemishes and several plastic card guides on the mother board are broken. Seller will ship by FEDEX ground insured. Seller will not ship to an address outside the United States. An estimated shipping fee of $250 is initially stated but any excess will be gladly returned after final shipping.
